Photography licensing

Every license begins with a conversation.

Editorial and commercial usage is arranged directly with Jakob Dahlin. Rather than selecting a fixed package, each license is shaped around the image, application, duration, territory, and visibility of the project.

Preparing an inquiry

A few details are enough to begin.

01

The image

Share the photograph title or a link to its archive page.

02

The application

Describe where the image will appear, the audience, and the role it will play.

03

The scope

Include media, territory, duration, placement, and any exclusivity requirements.

04

The schedule

Note the intended launch or publication date so availability can be confirmed.

Rights and authorship

Clear terms, considered for the work.

A license grants agreed usage rights for a specific project. Copyright and authorship remain with Jakob Dahlin unless a separate written transfer is negotiated.

Editorial credit, modifications, exclusivity, redistribution, and reuse are addressed in the license agreement according to the needs of the commission.
